Hampshire Area AGM

SATURDAY 9 FEBRUARY 2019 AREA AGM 2:00pm to 5:00pm

The Hampshire Area AGM will be hosted on Saturday 9 February by Portsmouth group in the Information Centre at Admiral Lord Nelson School, Dundas Lane, Portsmouth PO3 5XT. Grid reference SU 667 023 (Explorer 119).

The guest will be Malcolm McDonnell, Ramblers Trustee. We have asked him to talk about Data and Digital Transformation, Membership, and Path Network and Maintenance.

The Information Centre will be open from 9.45 am to 5:00pm but will be closed whilst the walk below takes place. There is plenty of parking space at the front of the school or in the shopping area across the road serving the M&S Food Hall and other shops.

Portsmouth group will possibly provide tea, coffee from an urn and there are other facilities in the Atrium for 50p per cup from coffee machine. There are several businesses close by including an M&S Food Hall where sandwiches are available - also a MacDonald’s and a pub a few yards away.

The Atrium can be also used for eating lunch and drinks prior to the meeting. There is only a small space available for displays so it would be best to not have any other than those of the guest speaker should that be required. A projector and white board are available.

If anyone has problems the mobile number for David Nichols is 07765100863 .

Pre-AGM Walk

...of 5 miles to Milton Locks will start promptly from the hall at 10:00am.
